Air Fryer Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or parsley (optional)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture. Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil.
  3. Season the Salmon: In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and dried herbs (if using). Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Air Fry the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The salmon should be opaque and easily flake with a fork when done.
  5. Serve: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and serve with your favorite side dishes like roasted vegetables, salad, or rice.
